Hey, the Rockies were automatic favorites to take the division in 2008 following their World Series run, too. Yet they ended up spending that September auditioning Greg Reynolds and Livan Hernandez for their rotation like it was still spring training.

I don't trust them. But I have no idea how this division will play out. Yes, there could be 4 different winners (sorry to the padres), but I don't like any of them. I obviously don't need to read your thoughts on the dodgers to know. I don't understand why people are liking Arizona again so fast. I think maybe I would pick the giants if they had a great defense despite the lack of offense.

A great defense, which they don't have. Not with the slick fielding Ishikawa benched in favor of a DH in Huff and fatasses Uribe and Pablo covering second and third.

Isn't Sanchez at 2B? Not that he's great, but he is better than Uribe. I know, they have no real defense, I mean, no one that's spectacular. At best, they have average guys like Rowand, Sanchez, and Scheirholtz.

So, in review, the giants have a mediocre defense, a laughable lineup with little to no speed, a question mark at the 4 and 5 spots in the rotation and Brian Wilson is the closer.

Shit, I'll stick with the rockies with the dodgers maybe 2nd.

Wait, HiG, Mets winning the Wild Card??!?

I WISH! No way they win more than 80-82 games this year (with huge breaks on the injury front and in games).
