The All-Star selections have been good overall

Last year, I express outrage about some of the All-Star selections. This year, I can't complain. I think the selections overall were pretty good. I can't gripe much about anything from reading the list of who made it. Though I am not sure if any Rockie or Royal or even a Devil Ray should have made it. Not a big fan of every team that should be represented out there.

I don't see any notable snubs out there. Yeah Mets fans are whining about Cliff Floyd being snubbed, but he got hot a little too late like Torii Hunter was.

I thought Troy Glaus should have made it, but I can't be outraged.

Overall, LaRussa, Francona, and MLB did a great job with the selections. They should be commended for it.

Also if Selig has some cajones, he would tell Kenny Rogers not to bother appearing in the ASG. That would solve the problem with Matt Clement, who should be in that game.

Morgan Ensberg was a ridiculous snub.

Esnberg definitely should be in the ASG.

Which guy should make the All-Star team? The 2nd one did, and not just because he was the only rep from his team. But it isn't that big of a snub, I'm just bitter because the guy is from my team.

Joe Nathan was going to make it based on the saves he made for the Twins.

I thought Eddie should have made it too.

Welcome to the forums papelbon, and I love the fact you have one of the Sox elite propsects as your name, he dominated in a Fishercats gmae.

I agree, Podsednik is a joke and he was the worst choice out of the 5. Yes, he steals a lot of bases, but Crawford/Matsui/Jeter/andwhoeverthehellelse were all better than him so far.

Jorge Cantu > Carl Crawford, if it comes to a matter of which devil ray should be on the list of five.

worst choice? naw. considering relative importance to one's team at any rate. Where would the sox be without Podsednik at the top of the order.

coming from a person who hates the sox, i thought he was a logical choice.
