Thread: The All-Star selections have been good overall

Well, if you consider importance to the team, then Podsednik goes up a bit.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.

I'd like to see Ichiro and Podhead pinch run for people. They'd drive Piazza and/or Lo Duca crazy.

Eh. I suppose. I was just saying those two since Ichiro has stolen bases in the past in the ASG and stealing is basically what drives Podhead's value up as high...as it is.

    ARod can run too.
Everyone should run. Piazza + Willis/Clemens = Manny could even swipe a bag.

I posted it at the same time as you did. Whatever, even Big Papi can swipe a bag on Piazza.

Not a big fan of every team that should be represented out there.

I don't see any notable snubs out there. Yeah Mets fans are whining about Cliff Floyd being snubbed, but he got hot a little too late like Torii Hunter was.

I thought Troy Glaus should have made it, but I can't be outraged.

Overall, LaRussa, Francona, and MLB did a great job with the selections. They should be commended for it.

Also if Selig has some cajones, he would tell Kenny Rogers not to bother appearing in the ASG. That would solve the problem with Matt Clement, who should be in that game.
Troy Glaus, he should have made it, but Gonzo deserves it more then him.

Matt Clement and Jose Guillen are..my only eyebrow raisings. But I don't find either to be obvious snubs.
