UGH Does Tim McCarver have to repeat everything twice?
We understood it the first time that the pitch is clocked at 88 mph out of the pitcher's hand but only 82 mph at the plate. Jesus.
i understood it in game 1 when he beat the shit out of it. 3 days later, i want to pour cement in my ears.
....and we just got our first mention of "only one team has ever come back from a 3-0 series deficit".
I was thinking the same thing. Not flashy or sexy, just solid. Considering how many years he has done that, and in the playoffs many times, that is not too bad.
Tex's BA is down to .083 versus the Angels. He has three postseason hits as a Yankee (compared to his 1.017 OPS with the Angels last season.)

figgins goes 6-3... hit the ball hard. 75 pitches for pettite right now after the 1-0 pitch.
It's ironic that if the Howie Kendrick was the 2nd baseman in the 13th inning, then the Angels might not have lost the game on an error. Them's the breaks on trusting your good fielders.
abreu snaps his hitless streak, man on for torii and vlad.
fatboy warming up.
hunter pops out to swisherland, 2 outs for vladdy... and he just missed one that should be orbiting jupiter right now.
and vlad ties it up.
HELL YES!!! That was awesome. Pettitte was nibbling the whole at-bat and Vlad made him pay.
tie game
and how do we know Pettitte isn't spitting into his glove all those times he puts it right up to his mouth? hmmm? huh? mmmm...
rivera pops out 4, too little too late. 3-3, top 7.
