Hope you all enjoyed reading, and now the fun starts...

some random thoughts:
-Great angle on Obama throwing out the first pitch Fox. I couldn't even see the ball once it left his hand.
-I hate those advertisement bars at the top of the screen during the game.
-Way too many dugout shots. How many times do we really need to see Charlie Manuel's ass and the side of Joe Torre's head? Or Derek Jeter laughing for no reason?
-Crawford saved Papelbon's ass.
-I'm slightly disappointed, but not surprised, that Bailey didn't get into the game. I didn't think they'd let a rookie play ball.
-I think the time of the game was less than that of the HR derby yesterday.
-Joe Buck lied to me when he said he'd ask that guy later what Halladay said after the mic cut out.
-It figures that a Padre would get the loss.
-Jayson Werth looks like Edge from the WWE.
-I hate Taco Bell commercials and Joe Buck's stupid comment regarding Taco Bell: It's all about the Roosevelts! Roosevelt dimes? Really? $0.79, $0.89, $0.99 and someone is going to pay in all dimes? A single dollar would cover 2 of those and a dollar plus a dime would cover, so yeah...it's all about the Roosevelts Joe!
I was at work tonight and caught a bit of the game. It looked like most of the game was very well played.

I thought that the Derby was one of the worst in many years. Not really anything to aim for, no one really stood out, rounds are way too long and slow, plus you can't have Cruz and Fielder sitting around for hours without hitting while Pujols has to hit three times in a row between finishing round 1, the swing off and starting round 2. It was like one of those interminable Yankees-Sox games where you just want to poke yourself in the eyes with a fork.
