What? Are you seriously asking if a 19 year old is a teenager?

It's kind of a gray area since people aged 18+ are considered adults, but 18 and 19 still have the suffix "-teen" in the word. So how can you be at the same time an adult and a teenager?

They are still teens. Most 18 and 19 year olds are still in school relying on mommy and daddy so its hard to call them adults just because they can vote and buy a lotto ticket. They should be treated as adults but realistically they aren't. Parents don;t call their 19 year old "my adult son" but my teenage son.

I doubt there are many 19 year olds who still live with their parents, that would be kind of sad.
