Well, we have the beginning of the College World Series tommorow night with the Florida Gators and Texas Longhorns. From my rough count, we have ten picks from the 2005 draft either playing or currently on these two teams

Jay Brent Cox (Yankees, RHP)

Taylor Teagarden (Rangers, C)
David Maroul (Giants, 3B)
Clayton Stewart (Phillies, RHP)

Rangers and Yankee fans should be looking intently upon two of the highest picks among the teams in J. Brent Cow and Taylor Teagarden.

As for a prediction, I am going with the Longhorns winning 7-5. Looking forward to checking out Tordi though. I really hope we have a few here to discuss the game, this is a nice change of pace from the MLB and let's us all see some quality college baseball. I rarely watch college baseball so I am excited to see this.

I have to go with Texas because they are more rested than Florida since they played an extra game. Besides, Florida lost their top pitcher to injury.

Did you know that its Erin Andrew's first time at the CWS? I was able to read parts of a SportsNation chat earlier this week and she has really enjoyed Omaha.

Peoples gets over on a sac bunt and here comes Seth Johnston, 5th round pick of the San Diego Padres. (How I got John Johnston is beyond me).
