I still can't believe that CJ picked the Angels to finish 3rd in the AL West. Thats like the M's winning the AL West.

The picking of the Rangers with zero pitching to finish over a team that won 100 games last year is the crazy part.

Not even close, the Mariners have no MLB ready talent (generalization) but Laa is old and will break down, as they have already started to do and it will only continue.

Re: S3F Version of 30 in 30: AL Central/West Edition

The Rangers don't have one single good pitcher, not even passable as decent. LAA is so old that Hunter and Vlad are both 33; Morales, Santana and Weaver are 26; Kendrick, Aybar and Arrendondo are 25; Rivera and Lackey are 30; Napoli 27; Figgins 31; Saunders 28. Man what an old team!! They got even younger losing Anderson and gaining Abreu!

Average team age for position players was 29 years old last year. Pitchers it was 28. Plus the Angels have incredible depth.

That should explain why they WON'T finish 2nd in the West.
