Stats Baseball Reference getting a makeover

Baseball-Reference.com - Major League Baseball Statistics and History

Long overdue IMO. So far though it seems fantastic. Stats are sortable by clicking the headers and since the data is laid out in table format, it is a lot easier to see and understand since I am sure many more than just I have gotten a bit lost in the trail of stats over a long career with BR's current format.

    Good job BR.

I, for one, use baseball reference quite a bit. I like the player pages they offer.

For as great of a search engine as they have been (and still are) for baseball history I'm surprised it took this long for them to introduce such a simple concept as the table format.

I hope the sponsorships hold over. So far the Alex Gordon hasn't.

I already lost my Chris Young sponsorship and couldn't afford to renew it.

It is still in the testing phase so they might have just not gotten it over yet.

And Leo, it is a bit surprising that the site remained as antiqued as it did but they have so much data there that given their resources, it might have just taken this long to be able to do it. Its probably been in the works for quite some time.
