Re: Best Rotation In The AL

I like the Rays. Now if it was a question of a three game series, I'd take the Red Sox. But despite their depth and amount of options that a lot of teams would kill for, some of those options are question marks. The Rays are just solid 1-5. I agree with cj that if Buchholz puts it together or if Smoltz is healthy and pitching as expected, the Red Sox have a case to make but I don't know if we can expect either one to happen at least early on in the season.

I gotta go with the Rays.

By the way CJ, let me get this straight. Guys like Perez and Maine who give a guaranteed 10 wins, an ERA under 4.2, and will actually be on the MLB roster are NOT studs, but Clay Buccholz with his 6+ ERA, and needing all the luck in the world to just make the MLB roster, let alone be effective are? Based on your past arguments, Buccholz is no stud.

With Santana and Lackey starting the year on the DL, I might have to change my pick

But Escobar, Santana and Lackey could all come back at the same time. I'm bold and sticking with it
