One All-Star Game just left town. Another could be on its way. Commissioner Bud Selig said Saturday that Phoenix might host the Major League Baseball All-Star Game in 2011.
“Well, I like their chances,” Selig said. “That’s all I’ll say.”
The Diamondbacks submitted their proposal about six months ago, according to President and CEO Derrick Hall, who added that the presentation looked “beautiful.” If it happens, it will mark the end of a long, hard journey.
Phoenix may host 2011 MLB All-Star Game
