I bet if Ichiro had been at CF, he'd be the best.

Ichiro could play CF in his sleep, if he wanted too, but he doesnt have the desire.

Please if you were running to 2nd base who are you most likely going to run on. Manny or Ichiro? you would be hard pressed to say Manny in that situation. Ichiro has the range to cover CF from his RF position.

Hunter is the best defensive CF in the ML right now. yeah i said it. The way he plays out there is unfair. Jones is a very close 2nd. Edmonds is a close 3rd.

I like that list, if by Hunter you mean Jones and by Jones you mean Hunter.

Just so you know the 2nd set of stats here implies Edmonds has a better arm.

I know. I'm not hiding any stats.

However, factor in Edmonds' age. Most of those assists came when he was young. Now he's old, he slowed down. Andruw's in his prime and will be for at least 6 more years.

If you were wise, you wouldn't bother running on Ichiro, or Edmonds, or Jones. ...Or Kotsay or Wilkerson..

Jones makes everything look so freaking easy.

And Julio Franco is ONLY 47. Which is why he can still pay 2B and SS.

Steve Finley was 39 last year and did extremely well. I don't see your point as valid. 34 is just not old.
