MLB.com does a great job with the Fathers Day and Mothers Day stuff. Always a great read for sure.
Couple of years ago, the site talked about managers as fathers in terms of taking care of their wives and kids. Managers got a lot in the plate dealing with the players and their superiors in their job and then dealing with the home issues. That's why I have so much respect for managers in handling all those type of chores and maintaining some sort of sanity.
Excellent points Steak. Ballplayers may make alot of money, but they are away from the family alot, and there is no question under much pressure from many different sides, pfrofessional and private.
