He's one of those make-ya-feel-good stories too. This one was kind of a no-branier IMO. Well deserved.
Congrats to him.

Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.
Yeah a lot easier than the NL Cy Young vote. Halladay had a great year too but Lee did it while his teammates were dropping like flies. Congrats to Cliff Lee for having the best year ever for a 5th starter!!
Jeremy Sowers is going to win it next year to make it three Indians in a row.
Then get traded to a NL Central team looking to make a run (Cardinals)
2003 Hybrid World Champion (115-47 reg season, 11-4 playoffs)
TBL: Anaheim Angels 2006-present (238-244 regular season, 1 division title)
MSL: St Louis Cardinals 2013-present (2734-2936 regular season, 5 division titles, 2 championships)
TSSL: Seattle Mariners 2006-2029, Pittsburgh Pirates 2030-present (209-277, 5 division titles w/SEA, 1 championship w/SEA)
Congrats to the Benton, Arkansas native, Cliff Lee!

Am I sad that Halladay didn't win, yes.
But is Lee more deserving, yes again.
Congrats.
congrats to Lee, he was a no doubter this year

I would definatly be Carmona if it isn't Lee again but is an Indian.
And as for trading a pitcher to a NL team looking to make a run, the only reason Sabathia was traded is because he was going to be a free agent after the season and the Indians would have rather gotten something for him before he left since they weren't going to the playoffs rather than let him leave and the Indians have nothing in return.
Cleveland Indians : 0-5, 5th AL Central
Pittsburgh Pirates Record: 3-2. 1st NL Central
Which obviously happened since Larry Dolan would never spend $100 million on 25-man roster, let alone on one player.
