Ellsbury is being benched tonight after a 0-20 slump. Crisp is taking his place. The Saux alos have JD Drew batting leadoff. To quote Quantum Leap, "Oh boy".

Pena, Longoria and Aybar have all homered as the Rays lead 5-0 in the 3rd. Wakefield is a goner!! This Rays team has no fear.

Everyone and their brother was looking forward to the Manny battle between LA and Boston especially FOX to help with their ratings, but with the outlook being Philly against Tampa, it looks like the viewership for the World Series might drop to all-time lows.

Screw idiot casual fans who think there's only 5 teams in the league and tune out whenever one of what they view as fictional teams make it instead.

The Rays are a good story this year and anyone who's a real fan of the sport should enjoy watching them in the World Series.

I've watched them prolly 20 times more than I've watched the la/phillies series. Actually, I haven't watched much of the NL.. even with the cubs briefly in the playoffs.

Upton and Longoria going for 10 or 11 homeruns is amazing. Any baseball fan should enjoy that.

The Rays story is one of the best in all of sports. Instead of the media building this up, they will concentrate on what exactly Dirty said. Its sad really! They rather talk about how no one will watch instead of showing why they should watch. Worst to first for the Rays and Philly has the #4 TV market.

Edwin Jackson gets the "save" for the Rays. How priceless would it be if Edwin Jackson wins a championship and the Dodgers fail to make it?

So it's guaranteed that either Edwin Jackson, Willy Aybar, and Dioner Navarro each will have a ring, or Jayson Werth and Shane Victorino each will have a ring. What a ****ing disgrace that will be. The only silver lining is maybe Aybar, after his playing career is done, pawns his ring to me for cocaine money.

    Re: 2008 ALCS: Red Sox/Rays

Oh, and **** Edwin Jackson. The fact that he couldn't even beat out Andy Sonnanstine for a spot in the rotation just reassures that he's the ultimate 5th wheel. Useless.
