    Re: 2008 ALCS: Red Sox/Rays

Looks like we'll have the following pitching matchups:

    Game 1: Hamels vs Kazmir
    Game 2: Myers vs Shields
    Game 3: Garza vs Moyer
    Game 4: Sonnanstine vs Blanton

Hamels on 6 days rest, Kazmir on 5 days rest, Myers on 12 days rest.

oh god, the hamels/kazmir has the makings of molestation

So TBS has to be happy right, bound to have had better ratings and certainly had a better series than FOX

This had to be the most exciting playoff series where everyone was rooting for the evil side to lose... since the 2001 World Series.

Boston wasn't evil yet when they rallied against the empire.

That was actually the D-bags taking down the Yankees.

The lesser of two evils, what can I say. The Yankees had won 4 of 5 World Series and it was time to put an end to that.

And I'm saying the Boston series was every bit as exciting.

He was still an Expos fan back then, the Diamond Backs weren't a division rival.

Fantastic Game 7 finish where the Rays had the wind taken out of their sails early with a 1st inning homer by Pedroia and came back to win it in great fashion. David Price is not your ordinary rookie and was dominant to close it out. Aybar hit an absolute moonshot to give insurance and congrats to Crawford and Baldelli who have been there the longest. Maddon had to do some managing in the 8th and came away giving up nothing. Longoria had a great piece of hitting to tie it up and the Rays are in the ****ing World Series!!! Its ****ings nuts to say that but I love saying it!! Four more wins!!!
