That's not to say I'm not depressed, crushed, and furious. But I can't really bring myself to talk about the team. I will say, for those of you who watched the post game ceremony, which was probably no one....it was one of the most emotional things i've ever seen. Seaver threw the final pitch from the Shea Stadium mound....the catcher was Mike Piazza. My whole childhood flashed before my eyes. I cried. I will miss that stadium. Hopefully the new one will bring better luck.
