    Stats Best first half surprises?

    Start reelin' em off.



    Kyle Lohse, 12-2, won 9 straight now during an 11-game span, and has a nice 3.35 ERA to go along with it.

    Marcus Thames has 18 home runs in just 188 at bats.

    Christian Guzman is 2nd in the league in hits (126)

    Father time Randy Winn is 18/19 on the base paths.


    there's Josh Hamilton and Volquez, the two most talked about ones... still surprising of course.
