yea, I was very disappointed to learn that I wasn't going to be in the game. I've been practicing once a month. Thought that extra work would have paid off.

And it's not an All-Star Game without Sir Mission Hockey, III

Varitek only made it cause he set an MLB record for most no-hitter's caught... is worth to note that the players not Francona selected him

Darn, I feel slighted not to make the allstar team even though I have never hit a homerun in my career.

Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.

Miller was hitting .263 with a .355 OBP. Plus he had 9 HRs and 36 RBI which was awesome for that year.

Even though I am a diehard Redsox fan. I do not see the logic in putting Tek on the Allstar team. There are many other catchers who may not have as big of a name then Tek but are having way better years. The game is suppose to be about the best players in the game for that year up to the mid season point.

Honestly, there's no need to have 3 catchers anyway.

Fukudome is a on base machine and plays good defense. I have no problem with him starting.

Please compare his numbers to Burrell, Ludwick, etc and tell me he belongs as a starter though.
