    A's Biggest fan interference...Maier or Bartman

    title... I am gonna say jeffery miar because Bartman only cost 1 out yet people still blame 1 out for 2 games!

    He's not blamed for 2 games, but without him game 7 doesn't happen. The Marlins needed that extra out to score the 8 runs in the 8th inning. As they scored all of their runs with 2 outs. Costing a team a trip to the World Series is a pretty big interference.

    Difference is, if I remember the play properly, Bartman didn't reach OVER the fence. Alou still needed to make a spectacular play, that he has admitted he probably wouldn't have caught. Maier brought a ball from IN PLAY to OVER THE FENCE. Maier wins.

    Miaer for sure. It resulted in a HR. Bartman's was a foul ball and other than that the Cubs blew it on their own.
