I disagree, it's a nice mid season break.

Just because something's broke doesn't mean you just outright chuck it.

If they do away with online voting and go back to just ballots at the stadiums then it'd be a bit more even and fair, and we wouldn't be subjected to the Newston Yanksox representing the AL.

    I disagree. It blows.

Something can't be broke if it was never together in the first place.

And this year it will be the Chicago Red Yankees...as Ozzie said he's going to pick as many White Sox as he possibly can.

The whole thing is a joke IMHO

it can never be perfect, but when you were only able to vote at the stadiums, thus making it less lopsided, and home field advantage in the WS wasn't on the line it was still enjoyable to watch.

It'd be better if they went back to the mangers picking them.

Amen! But you have to add Yuniesky Betancourt, he's batting over .300 this season and has exception defense, as does Lopez.

Overrated: Derek Jeter, matter of fact, The Whole damn AL East is overrated! Especially by ESPN.

I feel Burnett is over-rated just because he can't stay healthy.. Sounds like Prior, Wood of the Cubs and maybe even Sheets (Brewers)... They are all talented as hell, but can't manage to stay healthy for an entire season...

Under-rated: Young (TEX), he just goes about his business under the radar.
Overbay (TOR), hated to see him leave MIL.

Over-rated: Bonds (SF) talented, I will give you that, horrible teammate (at least that is how he is protrayed)

Bonds is/was a great player. But he is over rated because he doesnt care about anything in this world but BARRY. Have you seen his post season stats. Not the greatest. Especially in his Pirates days. He has always been a 5 tool player, but Barry can't handle another player getting more publicity than Barry!!!! That is over rated in my book...

Well 7 MVPs say otherwise. What did Bonds do in his only WS? Go look that up! And to say Bonds doesn't care about anything other than himself is just being ignorant. Remember the infamous dugout fight with Jeff Kent? That started because Kent was bad mouthing Bell and Aurilia and Bonds stuck up for them. Bonds isn't the nicest guy but he does care for his team.

Listen.. I am not here to disput your opinion. I just feel he is overrated because of all his antics over the span of his career. In my opinion, he is the T. O. of baseball... Talented, and I admit, the stats are there, but I just feel he is over rated because he needs to be in the public's eye. Whether it is positive or negative.

Talent is one thing, but I just wish he stayed the way he was before 1998, when he truly deserved is MVP's. Still didn't respect the guy as a person, but did as one hell of a ball player. Now the respect for the ball player is gone for me as well. That is the BIGGEST reason I feel he is over-rated. That is my opinion. I love the Giants, if it weren't for the Brewers, they are my next favorite team. I really started following the Giants when Will Clark played for the Giants. I must admit, I don't follow them as close the past couple of years just because of Barry.. Just sick and tired of him and the whole steroid issue.

Dude, I'm sorry but Barry does not want the spotlight and hasn't his whole career. I don't know where you are getting this stuff. You can think he is a dick all you want but there is no way you can possibly say he is overrated when he is the best in his era.
