Way back when I played in Little League we had a position called "rover", which was inbetween second and first...

I went with Phillie. They are great both offenseively and defensively.

Phils. And Mets would be if Delgado was...well Delgado.

Yanks and Tigs are close as well.

BTW, I am not the one who voted for the Brewers. I voted for the Mets.

I couldn't vote since I think the Rockies and Phillies are a virtual tie.

reefer, I usually agree with most of your posts, but how could you compare the Rockies and the Phillies. First of all, Nix has been designated and Barmes the backup is as good as Utley. But the Rockies infield is talented though.

I actually gave it to the Brewers on the basis of pure potential. Obviously Fielder is terrific. I think that Hall, Weeks, and Hardy have obviously all shown potential. Now, I think that this second, the vote has to go to the Phillies, although I think their defense can be a bit suspect. I think the Mets will be even better than the Phils if Delgado hits like he can. But I think that the Brewers have so much talent that they could actually have the best overall infield. They just have no holes, whereas the Mets have Delgado, and the Phillies have a mediocre Pedro Feliz and a poor defensive Ryan Howard.

Barmes is good defensively and has a great arm and didn't consider Nix for a second. Helton is a great hitter and better defensively than Howard. Tulo is amazing with the glove at SS and can hit as well. Atkins is a much better hitter than Feliz and no slouch with the glove. That's why I think its a wash.
