    Not a trade but the Reds didnt protect Trevor Hoffman in the expansion draft (taken by Marlins)


    and as for the Griffey to Cincy deal Mike Cameron did help them to that great season and Griffey lead the Reds to what? 1 season over .500 if I'm not mistaking?

    Griffey and Cameron's respective team's records are irrlevant.

    The point is Cameron performed while Griffey rotted on the DL.

    Like someone already said, they made it to the ALCS and Cameron hit 25 HR and drove in 110 that year. I'm sure there was no point to what you wrote since it had nothing to do with anything.
