    I think it's only a perception that he barely spent time in the minors based on his September call-up after having pitched in just 10 minor league games after he signed. He still went back down to the minors to start the following year.

    He didn't use any leverage, he wanted to be a Giant. Hard to use leverage on a minor league deal.
