I do too which is why most fans are sick and tired of the Red Sox and Yankees coverage.

fair enough. point well taken. ditto. I just understand the reason when they play each from the media's perspective. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for ads.

I think they cover too much Sox/Yankees, but I'm not tired of it. Still a great rivalry...but it's also still April.

I get to see or listen to the Redsox every game they play and I really enjoy that. The reason I think ESPN shows all the Redsox vs. Yankees games on national television is because it is the biggest rivalry in the baseball and the station wants the ratings and they know they will get it with those teams playing one another.

No, not for me because I would want to watch the Redsox play anytime of the year. That is just me.

You are a Red Sox fan so that's understandable.

Has ESPN even shown one Cards game? The best player in the game gets zero love. Baseball should be marketing this guy out the ass.

Pujols is one of the best hitters in the game, but who are the Cards major rivals? And whatother showcase do the Cards have? I am not saying they shouldn't ever be Nationally televised, but to compare the Cards and lets say the Cubs match-up to the Yankees vs. Redsox there isn't much of a comparison.

It doesn't have to be better than Yankees-Red Sox in order to be good enough to showcase.

Nobody's saying ESPN should ditch the Yanks-Red Sox games all together, only that they should quit showcasing that one almost exclusively.

They can still show those games and highlight Cardinals/Cubs, Dodgers/Giants, Dodgers/Padres, Braves/Mets, and Angels/A's (to name a few) as well.

cubs/cards is huge here in the midwest. every bit as big as the yanks sox out east. I dont mind so much if ESPN chooses to show their games plenty, but in a 60 minute sportscenter, they dont need to focus on just those two teams and then forget about everyone else.

The Cards/Cubs rivalry is alot closer than the Yanks/Red Sox. So is the Dodgers/Giants.
