I agree with you 100% browntown. He just seems out of place announcing football. HE does a good job at it (football that is), but he just seems to go hand-in-hand with baseball announcing.

Bush will drop the ball like he drops everything else in life.

Hey guys, I haven't read through the thread yet, but I am here to watch Yunel Escobar show these Braves that they don't even need a 3B or 2B anymore. Maybe they can DH. This dude can cover the defensive end of things.

    In other words, RANGE...

I am also excited about seeing Milledge and Dukes and Pena and Kearns. Alright so the entire Washington outfield.

Although it is very small money, I had to take the Braves -1.5 runs on this one. Odalis Perez? Are you kidding me? The Red Sox were just looking for him to come in and be a stop-gap between Schilling and Lester. Now, he is an ace? Haha Bowden, haha.

He's not an ace. Their #1(Shawn Hill) is on the DL.

George W. has an arm. I think I would rather have him as my OD starter than Odalis Perez.

You know, the team is a bad team. [But] I could be happy there because I can be the ace on staff.

    - Odalis Perez, on how to make friends with your new teammates

I am on the edge of my seat. Baseball is here!!! I know the Red Sox/A's kicked us off last week, but now it really seems official.

The rest of their rotation includes top stars Matt Chico, Jason Bergmann, Tim Redding and Joel Hanrahan...

I guess that makes him their ace right now.

President Bush winds up and throws a lollipop!! Oh well, at least it did not bounce in there. The old 58 footer pitch.

Wow, Dubya with a pretty impressive throw actually. He was high and inside, but it's not like it was a girlie throw or anything.
