    Marlins Pathetic Payroll

After the Marlins trade of Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis, the payroll for the Marlins is now $8 million. This is ****ing ridiculous!! Kevin Gregg is now the highest paid player and he makes $850,000!! The Marlins need to move away from Miami ASAP. Screw the new stadium and pick up and leave. The fans don't care and obviously you don't care. Sad thing is the Marlins win it all in 2011.

I'm with you reef! Get rid of the Marlins, Nationals, Royals, Rays, Twins and A's and go with a four-division, 24-team MLB. Baseball will be better off.

A third New York City team should be in order.

Portland, Vegas, Oklahoma City. Any city with fans dying for MLB team.

    Re: Marlins Pathetic Payroll

I doubt Oklahoma City is dying for an MLB team.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Isn't Oklahoma City the largest city in the US with no professional sports team?

    Austin, Tx
    El Paso, Tx
    Louiville, Ky
    Las Vegas, Nv
    Oklahoma City, Ok

Memphis wouldn't be bad. They already have a stadium and its not too far from where I live Louisville is too close to Cincy.

I'd definitely go to Memphis occasionally when the Padres go to play the Marlins. (Or whatever they'd change their name to)

Although, I just remembered Memphis has the Grizzlies, so they don't really belong on that list.

I disagree, Marlins can go. Rays, Royals, Nats, Twins and the A's are actually good. If you want to dump them because they play low ball that's just sad, low ball is one o fhte ways GMs can run a baseball. It's very interesting to see how it would go. Nats pulled good trades lately, Royals are signing lots of free agents, Rays are off to a fresh start and smart moves, Twins and A's have been good through the past years.

    Re: Marlins Pathetic Payroll

If getting rid of Elijah Dukes counts as a smart move for the Devil Rays, that would make acquiring Dukes a dumb move and hence, not one of the "good trades lately" for the Nationals.
