    2008 Hall of Fame Ballot

Players on this year's ballot for the Baseball Hall of Fame. Election results will be announced Jan. 8, 2008:

    • Brady Anderson
    • Harold Baines
    • Rod Beck
    • Bert Blyleven
    • Dave Concepcion
    • Andre Dawson
    • Shawon Dunston
    • Chuck Finley
    • Travis Fryman
    • Rich "Goose" Gossage
    • Tommy John
    • David Justice
    • Chuck Knoblauch
    • Don Mattingly
    • Mark McGwire
    • Jack Morris
    • Dale Murphy
    • Robb Nen
    • Dave Parker
    • Tim Raines
    • Jim Rice
    • Jose Rijo
    • Lee Smith
    • Todd Stottlemyre
    • Alan Trammell

I think this will be the year Rice or Dawson gets in. They would both have my vote along with Goose Gossage. Why are guys like Fryman and Rijo even on the list?

Because they played the required 10 seasons.

My ballot would be Blyleven, Gossage, McGwire, Rock, and Trammell.

Writers get 10 votes don't they? If so, I would go Rice, Dawson, Gossage, Raines, Morris, Blyleven, Trammell, Concepcion, Murphy and Smith in that order.

It's a joke that Gossage hasn't got elected yet.
