Bonds Indicted!!!

Barry Bonds has been indicated by a federal grand jury on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice.
The charges against Bonds stem from his Dec.4, 2003 grand jury testimony when he allegedly testified that he did not knowingly take performance enhancing drugs. He's been charged with four counts of perjury and one of obstruction.

The shit has hit the fan!! This will be one of the biggest sports stories of all time and Bonds could face serious prison time. To me this all lays in the hands of Greg Anderson. This should be interesting how the courts and MLB deal with this.

Barry Bonds could be sentenced to a maximum of 30 years in prison after being indicted Thursday on four counts of perjury and one of obstruction of justice.
It sounds as though BALCO was doing its own drug tests of its members, and there was enough evidence there to link positive samples to Bonds. "During the criminal investigation, evidence was obtained including positive tests for the presence of anabolic steroids and other performance enhancing substances for Bonds and other athletes," the indictment said.
