Red Sox, A's Japan-bound in 2008

NAPLES, Fla. -- Major League Baseball is opening its regular season in Japan's 55,000-seat Tokyo Dome next March for the third time, it was announced on Wednesday, with the defending World Series-champion Red Sox facing the A's.

Heard about that. Seems they'll be playing eachother the 25 and 26 of March, but will also play two Nippon Pro Baseball Teams, and those games are all double-headers I think. Pretty intense.

Uh...they're going to open the regular season over there, then come back here and play some spring training games? That's pretty sick. How do you play spring training games after the regular season starts?

Obviously the A's are going to be the home team, since no way the Red Sox lose home games at Fenway right?

yes, we get screwed out of 2 home games even though all of the fans there will be for the Red Sox / Okie Dokie / Dice-K...pretty stupid. They then come back for 2 games in Oakland...it's a "4-game series"...2 in Japan, 2 in Oakland
