I know how you feel Providence, this game was just sick to watch. It wasn't even fun at all. I would be pissed if I spent 600 dollars or how ever much tickets are and then have to go watch this game. What a waste of money that would be.

Eh. Good thing it's not a best of one series. Now that Beckett is out of the way for a few games, maybe the Rockies can get something going. Beckett is just untouchable.

Oh, and the Rockies hitters were about as touchable as Paris Hilton (you know, when they threw strikes).

    On to game 2!!!

Back in June between Rockies/Red Sox Schlling let on five Rockies runs in only 5 innings. We will see how well he faces off against them today.

BTW Did not know Dice-K was a teammate of Kazuo Matsui.

Just thought I would throw my two cents in here. I thought the lay off did hurt the Rockies pitching-wise as they couldn't get ahead of hitters and missed their locations big time. The Rockies hitters when they did hit it were linedrives and hit two shots off the green monster. One thing I did notice was that the Big Rockies bats were pulling off the ball and letting that front shoulder fly out. They need to stay back and drive that ball the other way. They were not intimidated by Beckett by any means. They showed their rust but were not fearful. Beckett was on his game and the Sox hitters took advantage of being ahead in the counts.

OK, now it's time for the Rockies to blow the game wide open and make Schilling and Red Cox Nation cry.

eh, i get lucky, i never have any problems with taco bell. i stick with either the chicken quesadilla's with one taco (with just cheese) or a chicken taco.

i stay away from that weird shit they have on the rest of their menu.

Yeah that was a bonehead play! Rockies lose 2-1 in one helluva game. Rockeis could not take advantage of gettign leadoff men aboard. Holliday goes 4-4 but makes a costly mistake. Rockies are not done yet!! Helton needs to step it up and Tulo needs to move back into to 2 hole. Matsui doesn't look like he wants to swing the ****ing bat! I'm drunk so sorry for the spelling errors!

Ouch! That really hurt. Can't make mistakes like that in the W.S. and only 1 run down.

I feel the Rockies will rebound in Denver.

I have a strong feeling this is going to be a new series after these 3 in Denver. Just a hunch, I hope I'm right.
