the playoffs series format. 2-3-2 for the home teams. It seems like teams get the disadvantage for havinf home field advantage. I like 2-2-1-1-1.

no 2-3-2 is the best format. 1-1-1 is just cheap and I hate that part of the NBA playoff system. The home team doesnt usually sweep all three games.

Too much travel with the 2-2-1-1-1 format. 2-3-2 allows them not to have "travel days" where there are no games on the schedule. With 2-3-2, there are only two days off.
fair enough gentlemen. to each their own.
I like the 2-2-1-1-1 aswell, I dont buy into the traveling crap, so ****ing what? You gota travel, you gota travel deal with it. Plus its unfair for the team who has homefield advantage, it defeats the purpose of having homefield. 2-2-1-1-1 makes more sense then the 2-3-2 format.
I agree with you giantsfan83. These athletes get paid big $$$ to play and the traveling aspect comes with the territory.
But on the flip sire, that means a longer off-season then. I dont like it either when there is no baseball on, but one day here and there thtough the playoffs is better than more added to the off-season.
You make it seem like if its a big deal if you dont watch baseball one day.
More days off means, more time for pitchers to rest, less pitchers will pitch on short day rest, which means more competive pitching matchups, more competive pitching matchups, means we are going to have a good series.
