i get to hear another game by steve stone. that is awesome in and of itself.

the playin game on monday night was well done too. That on the field reporter though for the sox/angels game was pretty brutal. jose mota? almost as bad as eduardo perez.

Cal Ripken Jr called the play in game, if he does more, TBS is even more SEXY.

If they cut down on ads for the Tyler Perry show.

I think it's fine so far. The Red Sox announcer and Simpson did a fine job in the Rockies game and Johnson, Thomas, and Ripken were good in the studio. Definitely an improvement over what I expected.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

still ok with TBS handling the playoffs. I love Ripken, but he did sound a tad nervous last night at times. But he does know his stuff. AS much as I like Peter Gammons, he has come a long way, so hopefully Ripken will do the same.

    Frank Thomas was great. Hater.

Anyway here's my opinion of what I saw:
Cal Ripken is great in-studio, Thomas isn't the best speaker but he is intelligent and his only real speech-flaw was that he said "uh" and "um" a lot. Ernie Johnson is always good so that was just a fantastic set-up.

They put together some solid announcing teams, especially Orsillo/Simpson.

My only complaint is that I lack TBS-HD.

I don't see why people have a problem with Joe. I like the man and I like listening to his voice while I watch the game.
