Both the Red Sox and Rays are off to horrendous 0-6 starts. Boston gets to go home for the first time this season but they do have to host the Yankees and have John Lackey on the mound (4.78 ERA at Fenway). The good news is they are facing Phil Hughes whose velocity is down and did not look good in his first outing. The Rays will be playing in Chicago yet again and facing John Danks. Only good news I can find in this one is that James Shields pitched slightly better than Danks in their respective first outings. Shield went 7.1 IP and gave up 2 ER while Danks went 6 IP with 2 ER. Pretty damn even there. Manny will be back for this game so maybe he can add something after showing very little thus far. Both teams face good teams but Boston has the home field advantage. But I am only showing you Friday's games. It can very well go on longer. Who do you think wins first?
