    HR Derby

Who do you think should/will compete in the HR Derby

I think Matt Holliday should be one of the players invited. He is a good young Power Hitter and he can hit Homeruns to all fields, LF/CF/RF.

No, but Morneau (SP?), Howard and someone else (I forget who) said they would do it.

Prince Fielder is going to compete too. I don't know if A-Rod will join, but a guy who I think deserves a shot is Jack Cust. That guy is just great.

Fielder that was who the other one was. IDK if Cust will go because he hasn't played in that many games and/or he isn't a starter

Cust is a starter now, but wasn't a starter at the beginning of the year. He was actually in the Padres minor league system. Even still, it'd be cool to have him there since he's a Bay Area player.

Thanks it's out of the Rockies Magazine.

If he keeps up this pace he should get ROTY (Switch those around to make TROY)

Man it feels weird no Rockies to watch tonight. I get to root against the Dodgers/Padres/D-Backs/Giants

Tulo is really starting to pick it up. I imagine his two major competitiors for R.O.Y. are Hunter Pence and Josh Hamilton.

I am glad Griffey is not going to do that if it is the case, his swing is going too good right now for him to get off rhythm like we've seen with past Derby hitters. And for the record, Dunn has stated in the past that he would not compete if he wasn't in the game (he didn't say that this year, so his feelings might have changed.)
