Josh Hamilton, due to his stomach problems, is a few AB's short of qualifying but is the offensive leader with essentially a .900 OPS through 200 AB's.

Hunter Pence has got vote right now but I picked Tulowitzki before the season started. Why are all these non-All Stars in the Homerun Derby? It will be nice to see people drowning each other for souvenirs in the Cove

Howard won it last year, so far he's the only non-AS in the Derby.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

    Re: HR Derby

Oh my goodness it's tough to pick a winner here. What I want to know is the finished lineup of all the guys participating. If the guy(s) that I think are going will go, then I'm pretty sure I know who the winner will be. But I'll wait and see the final lineup first.

Those are some pretty darn good choices , but I will wait till the final two spots are announced to make my final pick. Out of those picks I have narrowed it down to 3 of them.

I think with a veteran to the derby like Junior, Big Hurt or Bonds, it wouldn't affect their swing.

Maybe, maybe not. I don't know if it's a matter of affecting the swing, but 2 of those 3 guys are starters for the ASG, and if the game means anything to them, I think that they'd rest up so they could perform their best the next day.
