Keep in mind this list is going off extremely limited capability of following the season, due to being deployed and using a slow as hell and very limited internet access.

    That being said,

    NL

    1. Jake Peavy
    2. Roger Clemens
    3. Dontrelle Willis
    4. Tim Hudson
    5. Brandon Webb (and not soley based off his W-L record...otherwise we'd all be ranking Eaton ahead of Peavy)

    AL.

    1. Johan Santana
    2. Jon Garland
    3. Mark Buerhle
    4. Kenny Rogers
    5. Roy Halladay

also, to answer your question Witlon, Zito's motivation to improve, short of just doing his job the best he can, would be to increase his stock to go to be traded to a contending team...assuming Beane does put him on the market should the A's continue to stumble.

oh yeah, and forgive my ignorance on this, but who's Daniel Cabera and why is he on Steak's list?
