I'm here...and I disagree with your assessment that this is a match-up between two "great" teams redsrbetter...the Yankees are hardly playing like a great team so far. I predict that the Mets win.

The Yankees are better than what has been shown this year and even better when 100% healthy, but the Mets have looked awesome this year. 5-3 Mets win is my prediction.

No matter how the Yankees have played this year, they are still great. Maybe it is "on paper," but this team is really good. I hope to see Clippard have an awesome outing. But I still hope to see the Mets win.

I didn't know Maine was 5-1. I have to start paying attention to the Mets a little more.

well, it remains to be seen if they'll be great this year IMHO. Of course, it also remains to be seen if the Red Sox can avoid their usual August/September fold...

i dont know, their rotation is pretty damned bad. and their lineup is prone to slumps.

I always thought the Yankees slow start and the BoSox slump late in the year bodes for a nice reason to believe the season can go any direction for either club.

    Basehit to LF for Matsui
