    N.L. Player of April

This is for everyday players only. I didn't want to use a poll because everyone is different and plus we can all count

Barry Bonds-.356, 8 HRs in only 59 ABs, .536 OBP. and he when he got hot the Giants got hot.

Honorable mention goes to Matt Holliday

I'll take Jose Reyes' .356 AVR, 2 HR, 18 RBI, 17 SB, 26 runs scored and 1.038 OPS in 24 games(The Mets have played 24 games.) over Bonds. Reyes also only has 1 error this season at short, which makes him, the second best player in baseball thus far.

I think one of you two have it right, although the NL is stacked so far in quality hitters.

If I had to choose...probably Bonds, although I could be convinced for that speedy, speedy SS from NY

I would go with Reyes out of those two. Bonds has had a very good month, but Reyes and his 26 runs scored, 17 steals, and great D wins over. Not to mention a very low power guy OPS'ing over 1.000.
Integrity can accommodate the inadvertent error and the honest difference of opinion; it cannot accommodate deceit or subordination of principle.

Tough call for me. But Reyes does more all-around which gives him the edge for me in a tough call like this. The Mets lineup in general has been great except Delgado and Wright and he's certainly been the catalyst.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Barry Bonds and his .564 OBP and .814 SLG gets the nod over

Beltran, Holliday, Reyes, Cabera, Ramirez or Rowand.

    Bonds(unfortunately) or Reyes.

Bonds leads in OPS; Reyes in Runs Created.

    Bonds, c'mon, filthy start.

HM to Adam Dunn, who has 6 SBs and is on pace for a 30-30 year.
