i think that the new rule states that rosin is fine on the bag, but not anywhere else, hense last years alcs (ie kenny rogers). they're tired of the bullshit that the media is throwing out there. the MLB will not pursue because none of their experts found the problem and a third party did.

pitchers have been using ways to get passed the system since the beginning of baseball. its frowned apon, but not really punishable because its always happening.

theres nothing to become of this, just more drama.
