Gary Bennett turns on his clutch machine later on.

    He's not ready yet.

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

    Mets win 6-1.

"Why couldn't we do that in the clutch against this team last year?" say the Mets players.

I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Pitching wins games and so does great defense. That is what won it tonight. Congratulations to Glavine on edging closer to no. 300 with the win.

I had fun fellas, have a great rest of the night. See you Reds fans tomorrow!

    MVP: Glavine

    Yup, redsr, c-ya tomorrow...and tomorrow...and tomorrow.

And the same to you too, brownie.

I'm trying to give you guys rep, but I have to spread around the love a little bit first before it will let me.

Re: S3F High-Heat Matchup: Mets vs Cardinals Opening Night (4/1, ESPN2, 8 PM EST)

I was trying to figure out a way to get the full thread in the following pages for the preview, but alas that is not possible without rewriting a lot of code it seems. Anywho, that's why I didn't respond sooner, but I wanted to mention I took care of a few things such as making it so you can view who posted on this game thread (by clicking comments at the forum display page and thus you can know who to give rep to more easily), signatures are added back in, and this will not go against your post count so it will not affect your ERA. I have a few more changes I plan to make to this system, but all within due time.

We're planning to do a High-Heat Matchup (nearly always on a Sunday night) every two or three weeks, so I hope we get such a great response later on. And since we're planning on announcing this a bit more in advance than we did with past matchups, don't be surprised if I talk Fish into working whatever game we're covering into S3F: Vegas.

Thanks for everyone who made this such a hit.
