    QUESTION: Who is the only team in baseball that has two players that finished in the top 5 in hits last year in their respective leagues?




    ANSWER: The Dodgers. Juan Pierre led the league with 204 hits, and Rafael Furcal was 5th in the league with 196

    I was actually rooting for the Dodgers late last season even though I'm a little bit of an Angels fan.

    Wait, isn't Pierre with Cubs last year. It shouldn't be counted this way, IMO.

    Agreed Retro. But they do have a few guys now that can stick. The Pierre acquisition was definitely a good one for this team. No doubt about that. The only problem I see with adding Pierre is his weak arm and less than average defensive prowess. In Dodger stadium, its definitely a downfall.

    Don't get me wrong though, these guys definitely lead the way as the favorite in the West this season. They were so freakin good last year and the addition of Schmidt and Wolf will help along with the emergence of Saito out of the pen. Dodgers are my pick to win the division hands down.
