Canseco was a much better player than Mark Mcgwire.

I love Cal and all but how does he get more votes than Gwynn? Gwynn was a MUCH better player than Cal.

No wonder why you were nominated for the troll and homer of the year awards on the nfl forums.

Explain how Sutter got in then. Smith only played 6 more seasons with 178 more career saves then him.

I was just being an ass because you refered to him as all-time saves leader, which he no longer is.

Lee Smith needs to be in.

We know that both Canseco and McGwire were roided up to the max. Given that, I'd take Canseco at his peak over McGwire at his peak, also. Canseco was a lot closer to a five-tool complete player than McGwire, the one-dimensional slugger who, really, only hit HRs. Remember, Canseco was a scary threat on the basepaths, one of the few 40/40 guys ever.

Both Canseco's and McGwire's peaks didn't last long. Injuries held both guys back from truly reaching thier pinnacle.

Only Conseco admitted using roids, and Conseco's not a credible of a source, in his book he accused Sosa, McGwire, and Bonds who all have not failed a roid test.

Anyways Conseco was not a threat as a person who would SB, he had one year with 40 SB, and 2 other years with 20+ SB, 4 other years with 10+ SB.
And I also believe McGwire did win a gold glove.

As far as we know Bonds, McGwire and Sosa haven't been issued sterioid tests and if they had, it may have been well after the suspected use which would still allow them to come out clear. The only way we will ever know if any of those actually used steroids is if they admit to doing so. So far Canseco has been right about Palmeiro..
"They asked me if I wanted the ball in Game 6, and I said yes. I'll always say yes. That's what I did with Jack McKeon. I told him, 'Let me see how I feel tomorrow.' I went out, did a long toss, came in and said, 'I'll pitch, I want it, I want to do it.' And it ended up working out." -Josh Beckett

I've driven drunk before, but it doesn't mean that I've ever been charged with DUI.

Right but you admitted to that regardless if you were punished my law enforcement. None of them have admitted to using it therefore there is no proof to condemn them regardless of opinion.

And how do you know they have? If there was a possitive steriod test on them, it would have been out by now.

Bonds has been tested for steroids and that we know for sure and so far nothing positive for steroids. Now according to reports, Bonds tested positive for amphetamines last season. This is another leaked story with no way of knowing if its true unless mre sitcomes to light b ut this could explain Bonds' surge in the second half.
