Suppan has to get Penny out here.
Thank God I got the Dodgers telecast tonight on MLB.TV instead of the ESPN announcers.Quote:

Middle of the second
Tie game at 1
Cardinals bottom three (Grudzalanek, Diaz, and Suppan) are up.
Sounds like Reds pitchers. ;)Quote:

I don't think he's nearly as bad as some think he is.
LA, Stl, Atl, and Fla have the top four records in baseball.
All 4 very good teams too.
I don't either.Quote:

I thought the Eckstein signing was very good by Jocketty.
As for Renteria, I don't know. He's certainly taking advantage of Fenway, the problem is although the split difference is to be expected, the low base is not. I wonder if it has something to do with the pitching he has faced, namely because in 69 AB where he was facing pitcher X for the first time, he's hitting .203 with a .500 or so OPS, the second time, you can add 100 points to the BA and double the OPS. As I said when he was signed, I didn't get it (I still don't get it, I would have preferred a stopgap to Hanley), and I still don't. He's around his 2002 level in Fenway, he's near Cesar Crespo level out of it.
Me too.Quote:

CRF: McClendon can only do so much with what he has to work with. What has Dave Littlefield done besides getting Perez and Bay for Giles and Wells, Lowe, and Fogg for Ritchie?
Saenz flashing his big range. lol
Rockies would be crazy to fire Clint. He is a very good manager. He has done the best he could.Quote:

Heh, I was going to say Morgan wouldn't be a bad hire, look what he did with the Sox...then I realize it was a different Joe Morgan.
