    Big hit by Eckstein.

What a slide by the runner scoring at home.

    Penny hits the showers.

Suppan's hit basically took the wind of his sails.

Reds pitchers wouldn't have done that against Kent and company. Suppan did though. What a great pickup!

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

To steal a quote from Donald Trump's dad, what Tony does turns to gold.

I thought he was a starter.

Did the runner score at home first before the Dodgers third base man made that tag? I think it did. Charley Steiner does not think so though.

He sure did. He was huge there in the fifth with the back-to-back Ks and the big hit there. Huge props to him for sure.

Also props to Tony for giving him a shot to succeed there. That's what great managers do.

HOW DO YOU LIKE JOHN MABRY NOW, DK.

    TWO HITS TONIGHT.

    Man the Cardinals are relentless.

Did the Dodgers retired the Cards in order tonight?

    Jeff Suppan has 7 Ks.

He has been huge in the fifth, sixth, and now the seventh.

Suppan has retired 9 in a row.

I gotta give him the player of the game if this keeps up. He has been huge late in the game.

It was great talking to you folks tonight. Thanks for participating in this great game thread. It was fun.

I hope to do it again when I have the opportunity.

I will have my writeup on the game later.

It looks like the good guys have this game.
