    Ryan Howard named NL MVP.

Although I feel it's the correct choice, let the outrage/outcry begin.
Especially with Pujols being arrested for crack possession.

Definately can't argue with this. They both had great years but Howard was an absolute beast. He definately deserved MVP.
Integrity can accommodate the inadvertent error and the honest difference of opinion; it cannot accommodate deceit or subordination of principle.

Albert Pujols also definitely deserved MVP and also was an absolute beast. They were ridiculously and equally good.

I can't complain about the choice of Howard, though, so I'm happy for him.

although i despise Pujols a lot i thought he would have had the edge on the MVp since his team did win the World Series and he won his first gold glove but Howard's numbers just overpowered all of that. These 2 players could compete for this award for years and years to come..

The baseball media's backlash against Pujols has begun.

I'm glad the media turns against the best player in the game because he isn't their savior.

Albert Pujols is better than Ryan Howard offensively, defensively, and his team won the World Series. What more do you want?

So Pujols just needs some Hispanic temper/flair?

He also needs marketability. Who better than Howard to market the game to inner city youth?

    You mean black youth?

Because Dominicans and Puerto Ricans have it so easy.

Howard is hands down my favorite player that doesn't wear green and gold.

    Good for him.

The fact that the Cards won the WS is an invalid point. I feel that team could have won the WS WITHOUT Pujols.

Howard single-handedly kept his team in the playoff hunt until the final weekend.
