    Voters haven't gotten one wrong yet, wow.

    When's the last time a guy won manager of the year, and then took the next year off without retiring? That's what's looking likely for Girardi.

    Davey Johnson was fired after his MOY Award in '97 then came back in '99 to manage the Dodgers.

    I guess the voters were more impressed than some teams were. 3 of the managers mentioned were fired by their teams -- Girardi, Bochy and Macha.
