Which 3B sucks more in the postseason?

Is it Alex Rodriguez, who is batting .116 in his last 12 postseason games and hasn't driven in a run in 11 playoff games dating to 2004? Or is it Eric Chavez who was 1-for-30 before getting to face Brad Radke yesterday?

Chavez. The A's are MUCH more dependent on Chavez's success than the Yankees are on ARod's (not to say the Yankees don't need ARod to be ARod). They obviously do not have the talent the Yankees do to have someone step up and replace his (well, at least before this injury filled season) expected production.

unlike Payrod, Chavez still more than helped with his D...

also Chavez has better (compared to himself) career postseason numbers when you factor in all of his postseason ABs and not just the 5 games against Boston and the first 2 against the Twinkies in which he struggled...he did play in 3 series before that in which he was hitting .286 (18 for 63) combined. Arod has better career postseason numbers compared to Chavez when you factor in his time with Seattle. As a Yankee he has sucked except for one series.

how can this be close? Chavez at lats helped his team the other day while ARod ended up the series 1 for 14 again w/ zero RBI and in his last 12 postseason games ARod has gone 4 for 41(.097) w/ ZERO RBI. This is the guy who EVERYONE criticizes Yankee fans for getting on and the guy who is supposed to be the best player in baseball.
