    No, compared to pitchers that will likely retire about the same time he does, I don't see the numbers standing above the rest. It's taking nothing from gutsy playoff performances for Arizona and Boston, though. He's had a good career and will probably be remember in many ways like a Bernie Williams, but not in a HoF sense.

    Schilling is one of those that is hard to say whether he will make the HOF or not. He has had a good career, and was nothing short of dominating in his time with Arizona, and has been a great post-season pitcher. Not to mention not many guys have 3000 career K's. I want to say yes but his career numbers, outside of K's do not stack up against a lot of other HOF pitchers.
    Integrity can accommodate the inadvertent error and the honest difference of opinion; it cannot accommodate deceit or subordination of principle.

    Well everyone makes a big deal about 3000 hits, 500 HRs, 300 Wins, so i dont see why 3000K is not a big deal either.
