    American League ROY?

Who's leading the race in this thing? Papelbon has 5 blown saves, Liriano is down for a while, and Jered hasn't pitched very well of late...

I'd still choose Liriano. Verlander's extremely close

Verlander... in the AL (he is on the best team and baseball, possibly their best pitcher. Twins have Santana as their best.)

NL- I know that isn't part of the post, but I give it to Fielder. Just because I am bias.

5 days ago, I would have said Papelbon without a doubt, but now I'd say Verlander.

It will be either Liriano or Verlander. I am leaning towards Verlander now since Liriano is on the DL, but Liriano is clearly the better pitcher statistically.

We don't know how long Liriano is out for, plus he doesnt have as many starts as Verlander.

I would have to go with Verlander because he has more innings.

In the NL, Its either Zimmerman or Fielder.

Kinsler would probably in the top 5 ROY candidates if he was starting since day 1. With that being said I think he will finish with a few votes and make it in the top 10 which is still pretty good.

I'd have to say Verlander right now although Papelbon has been good to same with Liriano.

Kinsler just came on the scene in the wrong season. He will get some votes no question, but any other year without Verlander, Liriano, and Papelbon and he could have won.

Verlander, though Liriano and Papelbon are close.

Verlander. He's eligible for the CY IMO. Melky lost out when they got Abreu, but if they hadn't he'd be a top 5 easy.
